POSTED ON BEHALF OF THE WATER RESOURCES DEPARTMENT:
Routine Fire Hydrant Flushing and Inspections: July 27–30, 2026
This maintenance helps remove sediment and mineral buildup from water lines, improves water quality, and ensures the water distribution system continues to operate reliably.
Residents may temporarily experience discolored water, brief periods of low water pressure, or cloudy water caused by air in the lines. If water becomes discolored, residents should run cold water for several minutes until it clears.
For questions or concerns, feel free to contact the Water Resources Department’s at (404)-474-3834 or water_sewer@eastpointcity.org
