Ward C Council members Tremayne Mitchell and Starr Cummings are hosting a Ward C community meeting that will serve as a Budget Town Hall, according to Councilman Mitchell. This meeting is in response to community concerns over a budget that has become controversial locally.
The council members are hosting the meeting in order to both share information about the current budget and the process surrounding it with residents and to hear their concerns, said Mitchell.
The meeting will take place at East Point’s historic St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church, located at 2670 Hogan Road.
Meeting times will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
