A reminder that today, June 3, local, state, and federal government offices will be closed in observance of the nation’s July 4th holiday. This includes East Point City Hall, Customer Care, and all state and federal agencies, including the United States Postal Service (USPS) post office locations.
Because the nation’s holiday falls on a Saturday this year, it will be observed on the preceding Friday, which is today.
Government offices will resume normal operating schedules on Monday, July 6.
The United States will celebrate 250 years of independence from British rule this year.
Have a happy, safe, and fun Independence Day and Weekend!
