Trump Considering Holiday Pardon For Diddy, Fugees Member Pras: Report

Imprisoned Hip Hop mogul Diddy, who was sentenced to 50 months (4 years and 2 months) in prison on federal prostitution charges last Fall, might soon enjoy his own independence from incarceration if he receives a pardon from President Donald Trump. According to reports, Trump is considering a pardon for Diddy and Prakazrel “Pras” Michel of famed 90s Hip-Hop group The Fugees, who is imprisoned on foreign lobbying-related charges.

According to British mag The Independent, Trump is contemplating pardoning dozens of people in what is described as a plan to implement a ‘250 pardons for 250 years’ presidential clemency act to mark America’s birthday.

Diddy previously wrote Trump a letter requesting clemency, but Trump denied his request.

Diddy began his career as a dancer and later A&R rep for Uptown Records on the way to building his own entertainment and fashion empire that included New York-based, hit making label Bad Boy Records and his once-thriving clothing line, Sean John.

His net worth currently is estimated at $400 million but he faces almost 100 civil suits related to accusations against him.

Diddy’s trial featured close to 3 dozen prosecution witnesses. On July 2, 2025, a New York federal jury acquitted Combs of the most severe charges—racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking—but convicted him on two counts of transporting individuals across state lines for prostitution under the Mann Act.

Pras, 1/3 of The Fugees, was convicted of orchestrating a massive, illegal political influence and lobbying campaigns funded by a foreign billionaire.

He was sentenced to 14 years in federal prison in 2023.
