Florida TikTok Creator In Jail Over Improperly Accessing Women’s Private Cyber Information, Posting It Online

A local social media personality who claims to be a cybersecurity engineer and “hacker” is back behind bars after police say he illegally accessed the devices of two women and broadcast their private information online.

Mark Stephen Asea, 36, was arrested by Port St. Lucie police on September 30, 2026. He now faces a felony charge of “Offense Against Computer Users”, marking the second time this year he has been jailed following cyber-related accusations.

Private Chats Shared Publicly

According to police affidavits, the investigation into Asea—who cultivates a digital following on TikTok and Twitch under personas ranging from a “Grey Hat Hacker” to a “demonologist”—began when two female acquaintances discovered their private digital lives had been laid bare on his public feeds.

One victim reported finding sensitive information from a private group chat published on Asea’s TikTok account. Investigators believe Asea may have allegedly used a fraudulent profile to infiltrate the group.

A second woman told detectives that she had previously granted Asea remote access to her computer so he could assist her with a software installation. Shortly after, she discovered that an image from her private Telegram chats had been screenshot and uploaded to his social media page.

In addition to personal conversations, police allege Asea exposed passwords, device specifications, and highly sensitive banking data belonging to the victims.

A Reopened Investigation

The arrest marks a dramatic turn in a legal saga that began earlier this spring. Asea was initially taken into custody in April on charges of computer fraud, abuse, and stalking. However, prosecutors dropped those charges in early May, temporarily closing the file.

The reprieve was short-lived. Law enforcement officially reopened the case on September 24, ultimately leading to the new felony charge filed against him this week.

Following his arrest, Asea was booked into the St. Lucie County Jail. He is currently being held on a $35,000 bond as the judicial process moves forward.
