The East Point Convention & Visitors Bureau (EPCVB) will host its Family Reunion Showcase on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Four Points by Sheraton Atlanta Airport West, 3520 North Desert Drive, Atlanta, GA 30344.

The free event is designed for families planning reunions in 2027 and beyond, providing an opportunity to learn how to organize a memorable family gathering while connecting directly with hospitality professionals, attractions, caterers, and other resources that can help bring a reunion to life. At the same time, the Showcase invites families to discover East Point as an accessible metro Atlanta destination for reunions and group travel, highlighting the city’s hospitality offerings, convenient location, local attractions, and growing destination identity.

“Family reunions represent an important opportunity for families to reconnect and for destinations to welcome multigenerational visitors,” said Chantel Ross Francois, Executive Director of the East Point Convention & Visitors Bureau. “Through the Family Reunion Showcase, we want planners to leave with practical resources for creating a successful reunion while also seeing why East Point is a convenient, welcoming place to bring their families together.”

Throughout the day, attendees can hear practical guidance from experienced reunion planners and event professionals, connect with caterers, attractions and other participating vendors, and explore options for lodging, dining, entertainment and family activities. The Showcase is designed to help planners leave with practical resources and next steps for bringing their reunions to life.

The event is part of EPCVB’s ongoing effort to position East Point as an accessible, welcoming destination for reunions and group gatherings. Minutes from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, East Point offers visiting families convenient access to lodging, dining, entertainment and transportation, along with a distinctive community experience within the metro Atlanta region.
