A prominent reality television personality and famed Transgender model known professionally as Sidney Starr, is being held without bond at the Fulton County Jail following her weekend arrest on multiple felony child sex charges.

Hapeville police took 37-year-old Starr, whose government name is Sidney Favors, into custody on Sunday, August 2, 2026, at an Embassy Suites hotel near the Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.

According to police reports and Fulton County inmate records, Favors faces three major felony counts: Aggravated child molestation, aggravated sodomy, and sexual battery against a child under 16.
The arrest details indicate that Hapeville officers responded to a call at an airport-area hotel room where officers determined there was probable cause to make an arrest, which was made on scene.

During a preliminary hearing, a Fulton County magistrate judge ordered Favors held without bail, citing the severity of the allegations. The Fulton County District Attorney’s Office is handling the prosecution, as its office handles felony cases in the county.
Law enforcement officials emphasized that because the investigation involves a minor, further details and court documents will be restricted to protect the identity and privacy of the victim.
Starr rose to national prominence as a transgender model and internet personality, later securing roles on high-profile reality programs including VH1’s Love & Hip Hop: New York, Zeus Network’s Baddies ATL, and Lifetime’s Atlanta Plastic.
But her initial taste of fame arrived almost 20 years ago, in the early years of Internet fame–when going viral was still a relatively new concept. Starr took a fan photo with then-chart-topping St. Louis rapper Chingy.

But Starr would later claim the two had been intimate. The scandal drew headlines across entertainment media landscape and sparked widespread speculation over Chingy’s sexuality.
Fans weren’t so willing to accept Chingy’s denial over a supposed romantic encounter between the two and Chingy, who vehemently denied Starr’s accusations would watch his career fade, and never fully recover though years later, Starr would admit concocting the story.
